The GradCertDiv articulates to the Graduate Diploma of Divinity (GradDipDiv). If the GradDipDiv is awarded, the GradCertDiv must be surrendered.
Each student for the GradCertDiv must have an approved three-year non-theological undergraduate degree from a recognised university or its equivalent. Except for those candidates who have completed the three-year degree or equivalent taught in English, international students whose first language is not English, must achieve an average score of 6.5, with no score under 6.00 in an IELTS test. Graduates in theology however are ineligible to be enrolled in the Graduate Diploma. Overseas students on a student visa must study full-time.
The full time course is composed of compulsory and elective subjects normally taken together one semesters (four months). A total of 16 credit points are required to complete the Graduate Certificate. Full time students normally study four subjects each semester. Students may study part-time but must complete it within four years.
